Description
TheN.A. Supplies and Parts Manageris responsible for top-line performance of the $118M Supplies and Parts business in North America. This business is a substantial and vital contributor to Videojet North America revenue and margin. The core responsibility of the N.A. Supplies and Parts Manager is to manage, nurture and grow this Supplies and Parts business, consistently delivering against the financial objectives.

Activities include, but are not limited to: (1) design of Visual Management Board and cadence, (2) creation of regain and retain customer campaigns, (3) development of long-term strategies to grow the Supplies and Parts business, (4) active coaching and mentoring the Supplies Sales Team, and (5) Financial analysis to guide Supplies and Parts pricing / discounting decisions. Continuous improvement, as well as a bias towards action and results orientation, is critical for driving the N.A. Supplies and Parts P&L.

/Primary Responsibilities:/ •Daily management of Supplies Sales Team •Understand customers who are purchasing from Videojet; develop and implement programs to retain them •Understand by value and opportunity which active customers are not purchasing Supplies from Videojet, and create and implement programs to gain/regain this business •Understand Supplies and Parts customers who have left Videojet in the last 24 months and create Standard Work for regaining •Delivery of the Plan Margin and Revenue Targets for supplies and parts •Training, coaching and mentoring of Supplies Sales Team •Weekly partnership with Operations colleagues and effective deployment of annual price adjustments

/Specific Competencies:/ •Natural leadership. The N.A. Supplies and Parts Manager will oversee a large team of sales professionals and must be able to excite, direct, coach and correct the team while inspiring confidence and followership. •Sales skills. Able to perform and teach others how to use value-selling and disciplined consideration of deal price / volume / margin tradeoffs •B2B Marketing and lead generation, ideally in an Industrial environment •Dexterity across different databases and sales tools (e.g., Oracle Business Intelligence (BI), Salesforce.com, etc.) and/or ability to learn quickly •Organized (can manage multiple tasks, high productivity) •Action-and results-oriented •Continuous Improvement mindset, with a willingness to take risks

Qualification
•Bachelor’s degree is required. •Should include at least 4 - 5 years of direct management experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., Inside Sales, Field Sales, Customer Service, etc.). •Prior Sales experience and success managing a complex P&L are both desirable. •Training in Lean, such as 5S, Six Sigma, Standard Work, is a plus, though not a requirement. •Strong Problem Solving skills
