Danaher Corporation Inside Sales Specialist-$3,000 sign-on bonus in Wood Dale, Illinois
We are currently seeking a Inside Sales Specialist to join our team in Wood Dale, Illinois. This is a hybrid role with 1-2 days in office per week.
Purpose of the Position:
Strengthen incremental sales revenue growth with new and existing customers through phone based nurturing of long lead time projects and qualification of marketing driven campaigns, sales engineer and service prospecting,
Apply the use of value selling techniques to support Videojet value propositions by technology; understand our customer wants and values, engage with customers in a compelling manner
Cultivate a positive relationship with the regional sales team and tele-lead generators to sustain key performance metrics and regain targets by region
Liaison internally during the quotation, order and audit process
Key Responsibilities:
Daily activity that gets results
50 Outbound Dials (External to Videojet)
12 Outbound Completed Calls and/or Presentations with Decision Makers
1 Opportunity generated (Regain)
Produce high quality lead-to-order conversion results > 20%
Achieve 1.2 million in anticipated annual regain revenue
Sustain at least 90% of estimated annual regain revenue for 90 days
Support effective lead follow-up activity with relevance and a straightforward approach that invites ongoing collaboration
Prospecting and cultivation of key accounts as defined by the region
Opportunity funnel management - conduct weekly/monthly follow-up communications with internal and external shareholders
Establish relationships with core teams (Marketing, Sales, Tech Support, Product Managers)
Demonstrate results and key learning’s to improve the lead generation team’s success
Follow up on sales quotations that are held up in the approval process longer than 24 hours
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree Preferred (Technical field, Communications, or Marketing)
3-5 years sales and/or new business development prospecting experience
Selling technical or industrial products preferred
Problem-solving competence with explaining technical solutions and applications
Leadership experience with pre-sales support and customer communications
Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce.com), data integrity, and MS office applications
Self-motivated with a high attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Career plan that includes advancement in sales with the potential for re-location
Travel potential up to 5%
