Danaher Corporation Senior Financial Analyst in Wood Dale, Illinois
This Senior Financial Analyst role supports global FP&A team and global functions on financial reporting, analysis and forecasting. The position is responsible for various weekly, monthly, quarterly reports and financial analysis including some ad-hoc analysis in support of consolidated Videojet business. This position will also focus on bringing in process improvements and automation in the drive to properly manage cost and customer expectations.
As a Sr. Financial Analyst at Videojet, you will be responsible to:
Provide weekly and monthly reports related to order booking, shipments, backlog, margin and operating expenses
Provide financial support of financial and statistical requirements associated with the company’s monthly accounting and forecasting related to specific global functions and support annual planning summarizing assumptions and financial metric
Generate monthly forecast and business review decks with qualitative comments and insights on driver of performance of specific global functions, highlighting key takeaways
Strengthening business analytics through utilizing BI and creating specific reports and providing regional, global, and functional leaders with key operating statistics and variance analysis for budgets, forecasts, and key ratios. Play role of business partner for functional leaders
Assist in the continuous improvement, development, modification, and implementation of financial systems as necessary. This includes learning and using DBS tools.
Assist in month end reporting and forecasting requirements as required and provide backup on P&L and working capital responsibility reporting.

Your Education and/or Background Experience will have:
3-5 years of experience as Financial Analyst in FP&A function in an MNC environment
Professional qualification in Finance or Accounting, US CPA or equivalent
Demonstrated track record of analyzing large amounts of data and ability to summarize it into reasonable and actionable information.
Use of financial reporting tools such as HFM, Oracle, BI and Microsoft Excel to improve productivity in providing informative, timely, and accurate financial presentations.
Proficiency in quickly and accurately modeling/presenting financial data in a manner that communicates valuable information to management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
