We are currently seeking a Supplies Account Management Specialist to join our team in Wood Dale, Illinois. This is a fantastic opportunity as a launch pad within Videojet as we have promoted from within to other roles in Marketing, Sales Management, Product Management, and Service.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for roughly 15 million dollars of re-occurring revenue through phone-based nurturing, email campaigns and quarterly business reviews.

  • Apply the use of value selling techniques to support Videojet value propositions by technology; understand our customer wants and values, engage with customers in a compelling manner

  • Cultivate a strong partnership with the regional sales team and service team to sustain key performance metrics and revenue targets by region

  • Daily activity and focus that drives results and maintains high levels of account management

  • Exceptional communication skills to work well cross-functionally with all departments to help quarterback and find resolution for the customer

  • Support effective account cultivating follow-up activity with relevance and a straightforward approach that invites ongoing collaboration

  • Grow key accounts as defined by the region

  • Conduct weekly/monthly follow-up cadence calls with Sales Manager and Sales Engineers in order to move equipment opportunities through the sales funnel

  • Provide pre-sales support for opportunities that are in the funnel

  • Establish relationships with core teams (Marketing, Sales, Tech Support, Product Managers)

  • Leverage results and key learning’s to enhance the lead generation team’s success

  • Modify and submit sales quotations as directed by the Sales Engineer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Technical field, Communications, or Marketing)

  • 3-5 years sales and/or new business development prospecting experience

  • Selling technical or industrial products preferred

  • Problem-solving competence with explaining technical solutions and applications

  • Leadership experience with pre-sales support and customer communications

  • Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce.com), data integrity, and MS office applications

  • Self-motivated with a high attention to detail and ability to multi-task

  • Travel potential up to 5%
