Purpose of this role:
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
Weekly tracking and monitoring of inventory level and turns to meet the factory inventory target.
Reconcile and resolve inventory discrepancies timely, such as negative on hand, and past due IQA and internal transfer.
Lead and conduct cycle count / year-end physical count based on Company Policy.
Review and recommend solutions to improvement inventory accuracy and turns.
Lead and review E&O (Excess and Obsolescence) on a quarterly basis and take actions on top 80% of the total value and new items to reduce exposure.
Work with cross functional teams on E&O scrap.
Ensure inventory transactions and discrepancies are resolve during month end or quarter end closing.
Lead and drive Factory inventory funnel.
Lead and prepare Factory monthly inventory forecast and submission to Finance.
Lead and prepare Factory yearly inventory budgeting and submission to Finance.
Contact person for liaising with external department and auditors on inventory related matters.
Responsible for the overall function related to inventory management.
Assist in developing, monitoring and improving key performance metrics.
Ensure compliance to EHS regulatory, ISO and SCIEX safety policies, procedures and guidelines.
Other duties/ ad hoc tasks as assigned.
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent with a minimum 6 years of relevant experience in planning, purchasing, inventory and store management.
Experience with large data management and analysis
Advanced knowledge in using Ms Excel; Intermediate in using MS Access & Power BI
Familiar with Manufacturing, MRP, multiple level Bills of Material (BOM), ERP, Forecasting Tools, Inventory Projection, E&O, Kanban, RMA process, NPI, budgeting, & transferring of product from local site/region to another site/region.
Experience with high mix low volume is a plus
