We are looking for you in the field of Sales Life Science Research Microscopy in the Zurich region. This position is 100% remote and requires approximately 75% travel.
Account Manager (d/f/m) Microscopy - Zurich area
Come and join a fantastic team! As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for actively selling our products in your sales region with the aim of increasing market share and sales.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You will conduct personal and digital customer visits to life science research institutes, biopharma/biotech and purchasing departments
You build long-term business partnerships through portfolio selling and are responsible for sales in your assigned sales territory
You initiate and coordinate demos and customer presentations of Leica microscopes and systems at the customer's premises or at trade fairs and exhibitions
You identify customer expectations as well as market developments and competitive behavior
Continuous data maintenance in our CRM (SFDC) and weekly reporting are a matter of course for you
YOUR PROFILE
University degree (e.g. biology, physics) or another natural science or comparable professional experience
Hands-on knowledge in microscopy and specialized microscopy techniques (e.g. fluorescence microscopy, livecell imaging, etc.) and/or relevant account management experience in a clinical or life science environment an advantage but not mandatory
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships and negotiate at various levels of customer organizations
Proven track record in direct sales and business development, preferably in a related industry
Very good German and English language skills
