In this role, you will support our Global customers and will provide world-class service and support to all internal and external customers via the inbound call center. The Technical Support Specialist will be part of a team of 12 colleagues based all over Europe and support customers over the phone 60-70% of the day and over email 30-40% of the day.
We will coach you to be successful through mentoring and leadership within the department. Onboarding will focus on having a sophisticated understanding of Oracle, products and applications, soft skills, vertical markets, and sales lead identification.
As a Technical Support Specialist at Hach you will:
Identify and handle customer concerns, utilizing cross-functional relationships to find win-win-solutions
Handle all level of technical and customer support questions from customers providing timely, accurate answers
Provide efficient, technical troubleshooting support for online Hach systems and related Hach software
Understanding of PLC and other data collection software/systems a plus
Responsible for contributing to the development of Technical Support Knowledge Base
Act as a liaison between Technical Support and all cross-functional departments to relay Voice of Customer (VOC) and drive continuous improvement
Identify sales opportunities and understanding of the industries, vertical markets, and products
Submitting leads to drive appropriate up-sell and cross-sell opportunities to the customer
Establish a long-term customer relationship with detailed follow-up and contact
Are you qualified?
Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English
Any other main European languages (French, German, Spanish, Italian, Danish or Swedish) would be a strong asset .
Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Proven computer efficiency and ability to make customer-related decisions and respond quickly to customer needs required
